The Moondogs - Who's Gonna Tell Mary?

On this date in 1980, The Moondogs released their second single, "Who's Gonna Tell Mary?". It was backed by "Overcaring Parents". The A side appeared on their debut album, That's What Friends Are For. The B side was a non-LP track. The Derry, Ireland mod-influenced power pop band disbanded in 1981 after one album and, after a lengthy hiatus, got back together to record and perform.
